10.8.3 Upgrade for Hackintosh
As some of the experienced ‘Hackintoshers’ know upgrading can seriously screw things up, Personally I like to know that im on the latest. For that reason I will Backup to Time Machine frequently so if something does mess up I can use my backup partition to reinstall my Main OS however with my machine being so Hackintosh friendly I know that 85% of the time I can upgrade without a massive issue, Here is a video regarding how I got on:
How to join the Star Alliance Virtual Chatroom
Before you will be moved to the Flight Room you need todo the following because Adam wants the airline to take advantage of the ability to have a chatroom:
1. Download the X-Chat 2 IRC Client click me!
2. Once you have it installed. Open it and click add network,
3. Once you have clicked add, type Star Alliance and the hit enter:
4. Then click the Edit… Button. Once you have done that you will be brought to the screen below. Copy the settings exactly, Where it says NickServ Password you must enter the password of which you desire.
5. Once you have entered the settings you would like, click close and do the following: Set your nick name and then type it in all the boxes (Nickname, Second, Third, Username and Real name) Then tick the Skip network list at startup
6. Once you have clicked connect you will be brought to this screen… Type in what has been typed in the screenshot (/ns register PASSWORD EMAIL)
7. Once you have clicked enter to send that text you will see this in the top box.
8. Once you have done that add X-Chat 2 to your start up items, to do this goto: Start > All Programs > Startup (Right click startup and click open)
9. Goto: Start > All Programs > X-Chat 2 > X-Chat 2 (Right click it then goto Send to and click Desktop (create shortcut)
10. Once the icon has been sent to the desktop either copy it of cut it to not have an icon on the desktop.
11. Then goto the Startup folder and right click and hit paste.
12. It will appear like the screenshot above.
13. Then say: I have completed the instructions.
New Facebook UI
Facebook has got a new User Interface for you all to enjoy. It seems that they want to make there website look more like the iOS and Android Application. Here is a picture of what the new website looks like:

Hello there 2013, Apologies for neglecting this blog for the last three months. I have been very busy as of recently and have been very very busy and have also recently moved to Shropshire in the UK and have been concentrating on moving to the local 6th Form as well.

Because this runs on X-Plane we would like to introduce the fact that this is cross platform no matter whether you are on Mac or Windows you can fly for this airline. The general requirements are the following:
- Mac or Windows based Computer
- A Computer Powerful enough to suffice without annoying you with lag.
- TeamSpeak 3
- The FSAirlines Client
- Of Course a flight simulator in the first place.
Now you must be wondering “What the hell is the FSAirlines Client” Well that is what we use to track the flight that you do for the airline. FSAirlines we have 14 hubs:

Microsoft FSX – Windows 7 and Vista Fatal Error Possible Fix
Hello there ladies and gentlemen.
I have found a small file thanks to Alan from the Virgin Virtual Airline on Star Alliance. You can actually stop crashes completley in some case with this small file called UIAutomationCore.dll I have had this installed for a couple of months now and haven’t had a crash since. It has been a great help and works instantly.
Now don’t threat it is not hard to install at all in fact there is only one file required and it goes in your main FSX Directory.
For most people this will be located in the following place:
32-Bit: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\
64-Bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\
Or if you have stored it anywhere else make sure you know where. Once you have navigated to the right place you can then download the DLL file:
Then simply copy this file from your downloads folder to the FSX Directory that you already have open. Ensure that FSX is closed. It will not request permission to run but i can asure you that it is running so don’t worry. Please tweet me on Twitter @AdamDuce

The menu bar within Flight Simulator X was not designed around the protection of Windows Vista and 7 as some of you know with the User Account Control System the FSX Menu bar and right click menu seems to have a bug in Windows Vista and 7 because of this however the UIAutomationCore.dll file will help the computer to overcome the issues that it has with these menus in Windows Vista and 7.
Pocket Planes for Mac
Very cool free Mario Style Graphics Strategy game.
I have been playing this game as of recently and it has been an absolute blast! You are put in charge of an airline which has to start from the real beginning with Propeller Aircraft right upto the Boeing 747 style aircraft. The game is very long and is NOT easy to complete, You need to have the patience to really get into the game. It was originally made within the iOS Platform but was ported over to the Mac App Store. The application has been running on my system for the last day and I am now level 6 it has been a great experience.
